Brian Tuffs ACC, MSc.

I am a seasoned executive with over four decades of experience in the global energy sector, having held leadership roles across exploration, business development, and organizational transformation. My journey has taken me from the UK to assignments around the world, ultimately leading me to settle in Calgary, Alberta, where I’ve spent the past 34 years.

Throughout my career, I have served in pivotal leadership positions, including CEO of Sinopec Canada, where I was entrusted with leading a major international division, and as Vice President of Gas Services at Pembina Pipeline Corporation. I bring deep experience in strategic acquisitions, building high-performing teams, and driving innovation and growth in complex environments.

As a certified executive coach through Royal Roads University's Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching program, I bring a practical yet compassionate approach to coaching. My style is rooted in honesty, transparency, respect, and a belief in the infinite potential of every leader. I view the coaching relationship as a true partnership — walking alongside clients as they navigate growth and change.

Beyond my professional career, I am passionate about community leadership. I currently serve as Vice-Chairman of the Military Museums Foundation in Calgary and have been an active supporter of initiatives like Pembina Pipeline’s United Way campaign and the Men’s Mental Health Inclusion Network.

When I’m not working with leaders or supporting community causes, I enjoy spending time with family and making the most of Alberta’s natural beauty — wherever there’s a trail, a mountain, or open sky.
