COACH AND FACILITATOR
Olga Beattie PCC, MS
We all get caught in ways of thinking and patterns of behavior that have served us in some way but now limit us. These long-standing habits create deep grooves that are hard to get out of on our own. As an Executive and Team Coach, I help my clients step out of those worn paths, see new possibilities and forge fresh tracks that will propel them forward.
I’ve enjoyed a varied career in analytical chemistry, clinical research and various functions within Human Resources. As a work-life spokesperson for a global company of >100,000 employees, I was a keynote speaker at conferences in the US and UK, and was interviewed by National Public Radio (NPR) about how teams can simplify their work and improve efficiency.
As Head of Leadership & Learning at a large, global pharmaceutical company, I coached leaders around the world on effective communication, executive presence, influence, collaboration, conflict management and team effectiveness.
I believe that serious work can also be fun. Meaningful and sustainable change must be tied to values. The structure of clear and compelling goals is what unleashes creativity and action. Trust is everything.
I volunteer as a coach and workshop facilitator for a non-profit Career & Life Transitions Center, helping women gain personal and economic self-sufficiency. I’ve also coached collegiate ice hockey players and guided skiers.
I’m fueled by the adventures of traveling and learning, the thrills of skiing and biking, the joys of hiking and kayaking, the peace of knitting and meditating, and the high entertainment value of being with my husband, two children and odd-but-lovable dog.
